Veterans Day Edition
UPDATE June 12, 2017:
Clarence Blasier passed way today, peacefully in his sleep. He was an American Hero who loved his wife and family dearly.
We will miss you Clarence. – Tom Suttman
We go on location to sit at the dining room table of Clarence Blasier who served under
General George S. Patton and fought at the Battle of the Bulge. We also have Ryan Swaggard who is currently serving in the Ohio Army National Guard.

Clarence Blasier
Seventy years separate the ages of these two fine soldiers.

Though the Army has gone through a lot of changes in that long time, we find out that both of these men have experienced similar situations. Clarence and Ryan talk about everything from the rigors of Basic Training and their firearms to how their mothers were affected by their decision to enlist. Is it any surprise that Clarence has a different view than Ryan on women in combat? You’ll hear about that too!
We hope you enjoy this enlightening conversation between a soldier from the Greatest Generation and a soldier from the Millennial Generation. Be sure to share this episode on your Facebook and Twitter with your family and friends. And especially, share it with any veteran you know. We think they might get a kick out of it!
